======re.moto Boards and Modules ====== A re.moto Device is a versatile RF peripheral to enable rapid development of tangible (hardware / software) interfaces leveraging common User Interaction prototyping development tools on the PC. Multiple re.moto devices can be connected to the PC via a re.moto device that is configured to be a USB RF dongle. A typical system configuration might consist of a re.moto Motor controller, for example, interfaced to a PC demo application written in the processing environment. The server acts as a global event router accessible from anywhere. - “It’s like twitter for devices” * **re.moto Client** – PC or Mobile phone client interfaces with local applications and routes messages to re.moto devices that are attached to the client. * **re.moto Boards** – enables RF network from client to many wireless re.moto devices. Low cost RF, USB, Battery Power and ATMEL ARM7 (same family as Make Controller and Arduino) * **re.moto Modules** – Hardware add-ons convert re.moto Board into a re.moto Device with application specific functionality. Initially there are three modules but more are on the way.
